eBMS Designed and Certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
The initial scope of this assignment was to design and develop an online business management system (eBMS) for Petrofac’s UK Engineering Services operations, achieving ISO9001 certification within a tight budget and a one-year schedule.
The success of phase 1 led to phase 2: extending the system across the Engineering and Construction (E&C) Division and building a global eBMS team to support its rollout and implementation. The eBMS was delivered to 4,000 users in offices in Woking (UK), Sharjah, Mumbai, Chennai and Moscow. ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications were added in UAE and India. Project-specific versions of eBMS were created for Kovykta EPC (Russia), Karachaganak FEED (Kazakhstan) and Harweel EPC (Oman). The entire system was made available in the Russian language, including feedback, document review and lessons learned forums.
