ISO 9001 for International Consulting Engineers
A large and well-established firm of consulting engineers working in the international power generation and distribution sector needed a quality management system to achieve certification to various international and customer-specific standards for all its UK offices and global projects.
A comprehensive system was designed and developed with detailed procedures covering both core business and supporting processes. The core scope included engineering, procurement, inspection, construction, commissioning and project management.
The resulting system was successfully assessed and audited by SGS Yarsley, EIAB, UKAS, UK National Grid Company, Nuclear Electric, PowerGen, Ontario Hydro, Tennessee Valley Authority and other purchasing organizations.
