Covid Home Test
Covid Home Test uses a combination of courier and laboratory services to allow clients to provide a swab for testing and receive rapid results without leaving their home or business.
QFactorial was approached by the Chief Medical Officer of CHT for help in the final stage of the UKAS approval process. With 21 actions to be cleared and only 7 calendar days in which to do it, we accepted the challenge to provide guidance and act as a sounding board or peer review for CHTs proposed responses to the UKAS auditors.

With no free days available in the very tight window of engagement, we determined that the only way to execute this assignment was to receive each action and its proposed response individually as soon as CHT had the wording and the evidence ready. We reviewed these submissions one by one and made compliance recommendations during the evenings and weekend leading up to the UKAS deadline.
Special circumstances demand special tactics. We could have turned this assignment down due to extremely short notice and no available resource. But we wanted to help, and our Director does love a challenge (translation: he’s a sucker for punishment). As a result, we created a new fast-track corrective action process and a delighted customer.
Action No.1 of 21 was sent to us on 29/11/2021. CHT were granted full UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189 for PCR and lateral flow tests (LFT) on 05/11/2021.
