At the time of our engagement BW Offshore were the world’s second largest FPSO contractor, running a fleet of 16 vessels.
They wanted an independent assessment of the maturity of their management systems, benchmarked against best practices. We were asked to propose a methodology and a structure fit for a truly global operator.

We helped the client’s own senior team build a collaborative approach to agreeing objectives and mapping processes right across the entire global business, then benchmarked their existing management system against eight different models, including ISO 9001, IMO/ISM, EFQM and several major operators. That comparison fed directly into a proposed management system structure covering objectives, content, processes, IT platform, organisation and governance, captured in a full system infographic for the board.
